The deal, plainly.

1. Who we are

Group Supermarket, a retail supermarket in Kampala, Uganda. Phone and WhatsApp: +256 705 844440. These terms cover shopping in store, on this website, and by phone or WhatsApp.

2. Orders

• An online or WhatsApp order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it — by message or by starting to pack it.
• If an item is out of stock, we call you before packing to offer a substitute or remove it. See Refunds & substitutions.
• We may decline or cancel an order where stock, safety or payment problems make it impossible to fulfil honestly. You get a full refund of anything paid.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Ugandan shillings (UGX) and include VAT. The price at the moment you order is the price you pay.
• We accept MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, cash on delivery or collection, and Visa/Mastercard.
• Mobile Money payments count as received only when confirmed by the payment network to us. A screenshot of a confirmation screen is not proof of payment.
• Receipts are issued electronically in line with URA e-invoicing requirements.

4. Delivery and collection

Zones, fees and cutoff times are on the Delivery policy page. Collection from the store is free. Someone adult enough to receive the order must be at the delivery address; the landmark you give us is how the rider finds you.

5. Cooking gas and age-restricted items

• Gas cylinders are exchanged sealed. Check the seal at handover; once a cylinder is connected, it is yours.
• Fireworks are seasonal, sold in store only, and only to adults (18+). We may ask for ID.

6. Liability

We are responsible for the goods until you or your chosen recipient take them over. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Ugandan consumer protection law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and disputes belong to the courts of Uganda — though we would much rather you message us first, because almost everything is fixable in one conversation.
